A watermelon is more than 90% water yet it’s filled with Vitamins (A, B1 and B6), Potassium, Copper, Magnesium and other important nutrients. It has everything you need to beat the heat 🙂 Last summer, I made Watermelon Icecream and everyone at home loved it as it was so light and refreshing. This time, I made Watermelon & Mint Cooler and we enjoyed to the last sip. The two make a fabulous concoction.
Here’s the easy recipe for you all;
Preparation Time 5-10 minutes
Blending/Making Time 2-5 minutes
Servings 3-4
Main Ingredient Watermelon & Mint Leaves
Main Equipment Blender
Course Beverage
Level Of Blending Medium
Ingredients
- Chilled Watermelon Diced 500 grams
- Mint leaves 1/4 cup
- Ice Cubes 10-15 (or as per your liking)
Method
Place the diced watermelon, mint leaves and ice cubes and blend until smooth.Take 3-4 glasses and add the watermelon and mint juice equally in the glasses and serve chilled. Voila!
The wonderful ‘Watermelon & Mint Cooler’ is ready to be relished!
Cheers!
[PS: For added taste, while serving put half sprite and half watermelon & mint cooler in the glasses and serve.
I haven’t added sugar as the watermelon I used was very sweet but if the watermelon that you are using is not very sweet then you can add a few spoons of sugar while blending.]
