When I look back to the last 12 months, more than anything else I find Indian Curry Shack a big inspiration for me. It turned me to a more frequent cook, a food blogger and a food photographer while doing my 9:00 to 6:00 job.
I started appreciating cooking Indian dishes more while staying away from India. The Pav Bhaji place in Mumbai overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Chole Bhature and Tandoori dishes served in the Punjabi restaurants in Delhi, the special Bhel of Pune, the Chaat and Phokchas of Patna and the Indian Chinese that we get in most parts of India are truly unmatched. You have to be in India to have the authentic Indian taste. ICS is a simple attempt of mine to spread my love for Indian food, rather Indianised food. My family and friends are the ones who taste all my dishes and give their feedbacks before the recipes come online (the ones with positive feedbacks only come online… Haha!)
With today’s post, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all my readers, fellow bloggers and all food lovers. ICS could not have achieved this milestone of one year without the love, support and encouragement of you all.
